Try all things cannabis

Since I grew up at a time when cannabis was illegal, it still feels a little taboo to be sampling cannabis products. Furthermore, I don't know how to smoke or roll a joint, even if I am the proud owner of a pot pipe (that I never use). I love the smell and the buzz; I just couldn't find a good fit me. So here we are at the end January 2021 in the middle of an umpteenth lock-down, I'm not driving anywhere, and I might as well use this free time at home to try some new variations available and their effects. I had already tried what I affectionately call giggly water and loved it (it's important to hydrate!) but the edibles (sour bonbons) and oil are new. I loved the candy which not only tasted good but put me in an immediate good mood. The oil, however, made me groggy and gave me a massive headache despite the low dosage I used... I've hesitated to try it again but I've come up with an idea that might just work: I have a Soda Stream and I love the syrups that can be added for flavour. If I add a few drops to a glass of flavoured fizzy water, I might just be able to make my own giggly water! I'll report back...
A friend recommended a local company, MBL Apothecary, who uses CBD for therapeutic purposes. Their lotions and bath salts looked scrumptious and I decided to splurge. I wasn't disappointed! Like many of my friends who are home bound, I've noticed that the pandemic has taken its toll on my body. Even though I am far from an athlete, I'm not used to sitting around this much, and poor posture at the computer has wrecked havoc on my back, hips and shoulders. The lotions are light and delightfully scented with essential oils, and the bath salts help relax during a good soak. With all the washing and cleaning, it's nice to have a luscious cream or two to avoid lizard skin!
There's definitely a whole world of weed to discover now. I'm not going to become a pothead, but I will definitely keep sampling!
